Frequently asked questions about floating

Do I need to be able to swim?

No.

You do not need to be a good swimmer to enjoy floating.
You lie on your back and the water supports you naturally.

If you feel uncertain around water, please tell us when you arrive at Relaxing Time. We will take the time to explain everything calmly.

What if I feel nervous about being alone?

That is completely normal too.

Floating may sound a little daunting if you have never experienced it before. After all, you enter a room where you will spend some time on your own.

But you are not simply left to manage by yourself.

Before you begin, we calmly explain what you can expect and how the room and float bath work.Once you become accustomed to the water, that sense of peace may become the most enjoyable part of the experience.

Is floating only for people who experience a lot of stress?

No.

You do not need to be stressed to enjoy floating.

Some people come because they need peace and quiet. Others simply want to try something new. Some enjoy having a moment completely to themselves.

You do not need a special reason to float.

You are also allowed to think:
“I would like to do absolutely nothing for an hour.”

And perhaps that is reason enough. 🌸
