Body Scrub, Body Wrap or Magnesium Foot Bath: Which One Is Right for You?

Sometimes you simply need a little time for yourself. No appointments, no phone and nothing that still ‘needs to be done’. Just a chance to relax and give your body some extra care.

At Relaxing Time, alongside floating, you can also choose from a variety of wellness treatments, including a body scrub, body wrap and magnesium foot bath.

But what exactly is the difference? And which treatment is right for you?

Body Scrub – for Soft, Pampered Skin

A body scrub is a wonderful way to give your skin some extra attention.

During the treatment, the skin is gently exfoliated. This removes dead skin cells from the surface, leaving your skin feeling wonderfully soft and smooth afterwards.

But for me, a body scrub is about more than just skincare. It is also a moment when you don’t have to do anything. You can simply lie back and relax while your body is being cared for.

A body scrub can be especially nice when your skin feels dry or a little rough, or simply when you feel like treating yourself to some extra pampering.

Body Wrap – Warmth, Relaxation and Care

Would you like to lie back, relax and enjoy a treatment that allows you to completely unwind? Then a body wrap is a wonderful choice.

During a body wrap, your body is cared for and then wrapped. After that, there is really only one thing left for you to do:

absolutely nothing.

You can lie comfortably and enjoy the warmth and tranquillity while the nourishing products do their work.

It is precisely this moment of lying still and not having to think about anything that makes a body wrap so relaxing for many people.

Magnesium Foot Bath – Let Everything Go for a While

Sometimes relaxation simply starts with your feet.

With a magnesium foot bath, your feet are placed in wonderfully warm water with Epsom salt, which consists of magnesium sulphate.

The warm water feels soothing on tired feet and legs and immediately gives you that real wellness feeling. You can sit comfortably, with nowhere to go and nothing to do, and simply relax for a while.

It is often said that magnesium from Epsom salt is absorbed through the skin. At present, however, there is not enough convincing scientific evidence to support this. That is why I see a magnesium foot bath primarily as a warm and relaxing wellness experience, rather than as a replacement for magnesium from food or medical treatment.

Which Treatment Is Right for You?

That mainly depends on what you feel you need at that moment.

Would you like to give your skin some extra attention and enjoy that wonderfully soft feeling? Then a body scrub might be the perfect choice for you.

Would you prefer warmth, care and the chance to simply lie back without having to do anything? Then choose a body wrap.

Are your feet tired, or would you simply like to sit back and relax? A magnesium foot bath can be wonderful.

And of course, you don’t always have to choose just one. Different treatments can also be combined for a more complete wellness experience.

A Little Time for Yourself at Relaxing Time

We are often busy all day long. Work, shopping, appointments, phones – and meanwhile, our minds just keep going.

That is why I believe relaxation doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes all you need is to close the door behind you for a while and know:

this moment is mine.

Whether you choose a body scrub, body wrap, magnesium foot bath or floating, at Relaxing Time it is all about relaxation, personal attention and taking a little time for yourself.

Curious which treatment is right for you?
